Please join us to show your support for Long Prairie Wind and a decision that is based on facts.
The Allen County Port Authority will be voting on an easement that would enable Long Prairie Wind to build a transmission line in Allen County. The transmission line will also need approval from the Ohio Power Siting Board.
Power from Long Prairie Wind will be carried by the transmission line to a substation in Southwest Allen County. The substation is where the electricity generated by Long Prairie gets place onto the regional grid. The transmission line can be used solely for the transmission of electrical energy generated by Long Prairie Wind. No other projects can utilize the line and we have no intentions to develop a wind farm in Allen County.
This construction will create jobs and bring revenue to both Allen and Van Wert Counties, producing homegrown clean energy for the area.
We hope to see you!
